Empower RF Systems Delivers New Solid State GaN on SiC Amplifiers Producing a Minimum 2KW Across the Entire 900 to 1600MHz Band

SKU 2226 GaN System Amplifier Empower's model 2226 is a compact high power GaN solid state CW emitter designed for GPS denial and is based on the established and field proven Next Generation system architecture. This architecture is tactically deployed and operating on multiple levels in support of a variety of critical DOD missions.

Equally well suited for Jamming, Threat Simulation, Communications, Multipaction, HIRF, and Automotive EMC applications, the 2226 comes complete with internal DDC, external forward and reverse sample ports, and an easy to use web served GUI. In-depth health monitoring with alarms visible on the front panel are also pushed out the LAN port. Output modes include Manual Gain Control (MGC), AGC and ALC which provide useful flexibility when integrating into various applications.

This compact and durable CW emitter is a Multi-Mode power amplifier with built in modes for a variety of input modulations and application scenarios that include Frequency Hopping, QAM-xx, OFDM, Multi-carrier, Pulse, Gated Pulse, AM,FM, Barrage, and Broadband Noise. For each operating mode the output power and efficiency is maximized and the protection is optimized. This amplifier is capable of jamming multiple GPS frequencies at full rated power due to the sophisticated output RF detection allowing fast frequency hopping.

The 2226 is designed with the latest 50V GaN on SiC device technology which lowers transistor count and reduces combining losses while increasing efficiency and reliability. In addition to the standard array of user configurable, multi-mission mode settings, this amplifier offers user selectable "Graceful Output Power Degradation", backing down power to a safe operating level in the event of component failure or excessive Load VSWR condition
