Empower RF Systems is an “Essential Business” We are taking all precautions and following all guidelines as mandated by local, state and federal requirements and adjusting our operations to continue supporting customers and commitments during this time.
Watch our live video at the EMC Symposium in Santa Clara with CEO Jon Jacocks showing our 2170 1KW 1 to 3.1Ghz Power Amplifier and discussing the major technological breakthroughs found in this amplifier.
Output power density in our solid state GaN 1 to 3.1Ghz 1KW CW Amplifier far exceeds anything else available and brings the convenience of portability to the market.
And, if that isn't enough achievement, the unit is also packed with measurement, monitoring, and control features not found in any other mass produced RF power amplifier.
SKU 2170 Features include
Simplify Your Test Setup
Instrument grade metering for forward and reverse power monitoring thereby eliminating the cost of external DDC, power sensors, and power meter
Small size allows amplifier to be moved around as needed in your test environment
Operate from your Smart Wifi device, Lan, or Front Panel
User Selectable Output Power Control
Automatic Gain Control (AGC) - Utilizes internal feedback for flat output across the band
With selectable Peak or RMS detector
Automatic Level Control (ALC) - when input signal varies, maintain linear user defined output (not to be confused with a clipping limiter)
With selectable Peak or RMS detector
Manual Gain Control (MGC) - Amplifier runs like a typical amplifier in open loop
Measurement Modes
The instrument will read the proper power level for your modulation type
CW. CE (constant envelop modulation), FM
AM modulation
Digital Modulation- RMS detection mode, user inputs PAR (peak to average ratio)
Multi-carrier / Multitone
Pulse Modulation
Other Features
LXI interface
Built in web server for Lan or wifi operation with your smart phone or tablet
Tile driver available
Multitone enabled for faster radiated immunity sweeps
Our state of the art user interface allows the user to control and monitor the configuration, behavior, and real-time health of the amplifier through a wireless device, Ethernet connection, or front panel. Wireless operation is quick and easy, all you need is the units IP address and its plug and play from your favorite browser. For machine to machine interface (M2M), Empower offers TCP/IP or UDP protocol sockets accessed through the Ethernet port. This is a new and unique feature of Empower's current generation "size matters" RF amplifiers and allow you unprecedented reporting capability.
