Empower RF Systems Adds
Business and Technology Advisor

  

Empower RF Systems is pleased to announce the addition of senior level RF talent as part of its ongoing commitment to growth and customer support.

Bill Vassilakis comes to Empower RF Systems with more than 25 years of experience in senior technical leadership roles developing cutting-edge wireless subsystem technologies for amplifiers, antennas, TMAs, filters and advanced coverage and capacity solutions. He joins the company as Chief Business and Technology Advisor, reporting to Empower’s President and CEO, Efraim Bainvoll.

Vassilakis's most recent professional experience includes 12 years as the Senior Vice President of Global Research and Product Development, Corporate Vice President of Research and Advanced Development, Director of Research and Development and Director of Engineering at Powerwave Technologies, Inc and previous tenure at other major RF and wireless industry equipment manufacturers. He is named on over 20 awarded and pending US and International patents, serves on the engineering advisory board of University of California, Irvine, and is a registered professional engineer.
